Compounding Darren’s plight is his precarious relationship with Vanessa Vasquez, a mysterious girl whose wandering heart can’t seem to find purchase, and the increasingly homicidal behavior of high school thug Marcus Lutze, both of whom may be embroiled in the aliens’ schemes.
